This calculator assumes each lawn section is rectangular. Widths are rounded up to the nearest achievable 2 m / 4 m roll combination. For example, a 7 m width rounds up to 8 m and is calculated as two 4 m-wide pieces. Lengths are rounded up to the next available metre length and never rounded down. The calculator uses the selected product's maximum available roll length, such as 20 m or 25 m, when splitting long runs. Runs longer than the product maximum are split into the largest available roll length first, then the remaining length as a separate piece. Joining tape is calculated only where two pieces meet. Nails and U-Pins are calculated at 4 pieces per lineal metre of outside perimeter. Infill estimates are preliminary and should be checked against the final installation layout.
